Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. This position involves providing comprehensive care for obstetric patients, including high-risk deliveries, within a busy maternity unit. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient maternal and neonatal outcomes.

- Certifications: ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS Certification, NRP, COVID Vaccine Required
- Education and Experience: Two years of professional experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) and postpartum (PP) care, with prior experience with C-sections circulation preferred; minimum of 2 years in relevant clinical setting.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to practice as an RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications, experience with high-risk obstetric patients, and ability to circulate for C-sections.
- Responsibilities: Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care, manage high-risk pregnancies, monitor fetal and maternal health, and collaborate with healthcare team for patient care planning.
- Additional Information: Float between postpartum and labor and delivery units; unit follows AWHONN guidelines; experienced with electronic fetal monitoring systems; hospital provided scrub color; COVID vaccination required.
