Job Summary
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with practice standards. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, providing health education and treatment to promote recovery and well-being. The position may require floating to other departments within scope and qualifications, and may include being placed on-call as needed.

Job Details

• Shift: 3-12 hour nights / 1900-0730
• Weekends: Max of 8 shifts in an 8-week period, typically Saturday and Sunday from 0700-1930, or Friday and Saturday nights from 1900-0730.
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (AHA) certification, ACLS (AHA) certification, NIHSS certification, 1+ years of experience in telemetry or higher.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing, previous RN experience.
• Additional Information: The unit consists of 32 beds, with an average of 3-5 patients depending on acuity and shift. Documentation is maintained using Epic, with scheduling through UKG Pro/Kronos. Floating is based on date, and the contract duration is 13 weeks plus.
• Certification requirements include current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Responsibilities include monitoring patients with telemetry, interpreting EKG rhythms, executing medical functions, documenting care, and referring patients as needed.
