Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Specialist in Alaska. This position involves supporting a Magnet-designated facility with Level II Trauma status, providing specialized surgical care for cardiac procedures. - Position: Operating Room Open Heart
- Location: Alaska
- Shift Type: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- End Date: 12/28/2026
- Certifications/Qualifications: BLS, NBSTSA*, NCCT, or equivalent certifications; at least 1 year of experience in OR Open Heart procedures; valid state license, preferably a compact license in hand at submission.
- Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to work during scheduled holidays, with time off approved on an individual basis. Applicants are expected to have experience in cardiac surgical procedures, including but not limited to Aortic Aneurysm repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), and Valve Repair/Replacement. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and support a team of interdisciplinary professionals.
