Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician in the SP (Sterile Processing) specialty located at the healthcare facility. The role involves supporting surgical operations by ensuring proper sterilization and processing of medical instruments. This position is ideal for a qualified professional with at least one year of experience, available to start immediately and committed to a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Details

• Certifications: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• Education: Not specified
• Location Requirements: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year required (or more)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 0730-1600, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/21/2026
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, and OB GYN cases; familiarity with sterilization procedures, washers/sterilizers, and case cart management; experience in acute hospital settings.
• Additional Information: The role involves maintaining sterile processing equipment, sterilization testing and monitoring, and supporting surgical services. No call or weekend shifts are required.
• Submission Requirements: Applicants must include responses regarding prior experience at a Providence facility and provide two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
