Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) RN Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating room, with a focus on both scrub and circulate duties, including experience in orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries. The position requires versatility and the ability to work rotating shifts based on clinical needs.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Must have 4-5 years of OR or combined OR experience. Circulating experience is mandatory. Candidates should be proficient in circulating and performing independently in orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Travel Required: No.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Location flexibility is granted for locals (75 miles or less) at a lower benefits rate.
  • All time off must be specified at submission.
  • Requires active Connecticut RN license with application within 24 hours of lock-in.
  • Must have a copy of NURSYS at start.
  • Covid-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions allowed for medical and religious reasons.
  • Flu vaccination is required, with exemptions allowed for medical and religious reasons.
  • On-call duties include at least one weekend per month, rotating weekends, and holidays.
  • On call involves at least 1 weekend per month with 30-minute report time.
  • Scrubs will be provided.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required as part of coverage needs.
