Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse in a facility with 38 beds. The role involves providing critical emergency care to patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This position demands strong clinical judgment, leadership, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering emergency care in a 38-bed facility, demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure safe patient outcomes. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care appropriately, and provide supervision to staff delivering patient care.
- Certifications & Education: Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and an Arizona nursing license.
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience (additional $3/hour). Willingness to float between units.
- Additional Information: Knowledge of Cerner electronic medical record system required. Scrub colors/dress code is black. Position starts within 2 weeks of offer acceptance, with a preferred start date of 09/28/2026, and runs through 12/28/2026.
