Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist in the local area is sought for a temporary assignment. This position involves providing surgical support across multiple specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, total joints, podiatry, obstetrics and gynecology (including cesarean sections), endoscopy, neurosurgery, robotics, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), and cataracts. The role requires hands-on experience in a variety of surgical procedures and equipment operation within a healthcare facility.

Job Details

• Position Description: Support surgical teams in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedic, podiatry, OB-GYN, endoscopy, neurosurgery, robotics, ENT, and cataracts. Utilize equipment such as Hana Tables, Stryker, Arthrex, and Medacta.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of surgical experience minimum; neuro experience preferred; current certification in relevant surgical technology or licensed Surgical Technologist credentials; eligible to work within the geographic region specified.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 6:45 am to 3:30 pm, with 7-10 days of call per month, including weekends. When on call, duties are from 3:30 pm to 7 pm.
• Additional Information: Flu vaccination is mandatory; applicants must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; no more than 3 days of leave can be requested during the 13-week contract; the facility may cancel up to 3 shifts within the contract, with guaranteed hours not applicable.
