Job Summary
Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU) Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a designated Intensive Care Unit. The position requires managing a diverse patient population, including COVID-positive patients, with responsibilities adapted to an acute care setting.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Responsible for delivering high-level critical care to adult patients in a 20-bed ICU setting. The unit primarily serves patients with conditions such as post angioplasty, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and complex surgical cases. Approximately 30-50% of patients will be COVID-positive, with around 10 beds typically occupied by COVID patients.
• Required Qualifications:
  Valid license to submit; 2 years of clinical experience in Critical Care Nursing; Certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Schedule:
  12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Candidate must include a copy of a valid, unexpired drivers license with submission. Willing to consider block scheduling, 36/48 or 48-hour contracts, and shorter assignments than 16 weeks. The role involves minimal floating outside of ICU, with experience in acute critical care preferred but not mandatory for EPIC EHR system familiarity.
