Description
Job Summary
OR (Operating Room) Specialist in the location area. This role involves providing surgical assistance within a large, level 1 trauma hospital, primarily focusing on orthopedic procedures including joint replacements, sports medicine, and oncology surgeries. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care during various surgical procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Certified CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) required, with 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Assisting in a wide range of surgeries including Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics (Joint Replacements, Sports medicine, Oncology), Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic, and Interventional Pulmonology procedures.
- Additional Information: ORTHO and TOTAL JOINTS experience required. Orientation sessions are held weekly (every Monday), and the start date is as soon as possible, at least 4 weeks out for compliance. Candidates must provide available dates and times for interviews at the time of submission. No local travelers will be accepted, and candidates must be separated from the facility for six months if previously employed there within the last six months.
