Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Located in the healthcare providers facility, this role involves providing hands-on care to patients within the Labor and Delivery department. The RN will perform all steps of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring a family-centered approach. The position emphasizes delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing care within regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license, current American Heart Association certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides emotional support, monitors patient progress, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans. The CN educates patients and families, responds promptly to clinical situations, and contributes to team and professional development through teaching and participation in shared governance activities. The role requires ongoing professional development, licensure maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
