Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse in Colorado Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nurse to join a dynamic hybrid catheterization laboratory setting. The role involves scrubbing and circulating for cardiovascular surgical procedures, providing comprehensive care before, during, and after surgeries in a smaller hospital environment. This opportunity offers a unique summer assignment in the Colorado Rockies with an emphasis on utilizing advanced technology in a rapidly growing clinical setting.

Job Details

  • Position: Operating Room Open Heart Nurse (CVOR)
  • Location: Colorado
  • Shift Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Certifications and Education Requirements: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license for Colorado; BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; 2 years of high-volume intraoperative RN CVOR experience.
  • Responsibilities: Scrubbing and circulating in a hybrid cardiac catheterization laboratory, caring for cardiovascular patients throughout surgical procedures, utilizing advanced cardiovascular technologies, and supporting procedural teams.
  • Additional Information: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. Applicants may need to register with Colorado agencies and ensure proper SS# and DOB details in the system to prevent onboarding issues. No holiday guaranteed hours.
