Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) Oakland, CA. This position involves providing post-operative recovery care to patients across various age groups, including pediatrics and adolescents, within a busy healthcare facility. The role requires flexibility to float to different units within the organization and adherence to established protocols and certifications.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA RN license, BSN degree, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Two years of previous PACU or acute care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I trauma center, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), or Phase I/II PACU.
• Additional Information: Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ radius as needed. Must have experience managing ports, airway assessments, ventilated patients, and performing procedures relevant to PACU. Candidates should be familiar with Epic charting system and demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency care procedures.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide employment history, recent references, and certifications upon submittal.
