Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) China Basin, CA This position involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment within an interventional radiology unit. The RN will be responsible for patient care before, during, and after specialized procedures, with a focus on procedural sedation, infection prevention, and monitoring. The role requires flexibility to float to other healthcare facilities within the organization as needed.

Job Details

  • Shift: Days, 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS certifications; BSN degree; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Interventional Radiology; experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, infection prevention, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of procedural sedation; proficiency in using Epic charting system; ability to float within a 75+ mile radius to different facilities
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, charting system experience, community hospital experience, experience in LTAC, trauma level I or II experience, travel experience
  • Additional Responsibilities: Administering emergency medications, caring for and maintaining PICC lines and implanted ports, ensuring radiation and laser safety, managing reversal agents, and supporting interdisciplinary teams including radiology and pharmacy.
  • Start Date: 09/22/2026
  • End Date: 12/22/2026
  • Orientation: 40 hours before start date
  • Submittal Requirements: Valid CA RN license, BSN degree, two references from most recent employer, evidence of required certifications, employment history including all UC medical facility employment
