Job Summary
Cardiac Care Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in the local area. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a Level 1 trauma cardiac catheterization lab setting, supporting emergency and elective angioplasty procedures, and patient therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation. The role requires a dedicated RN with recent acute care experience.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must have graduated from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, with a BSN highly desired. The RN must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state or district.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS. A minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience and at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a Level 1 trauma setting are required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities including 2 weekends and 15 shifts. The RN must live at least 100 miles away and be available Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1530.
• Additional Information: The candidate will be performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
