Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Frankfort, KY. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a NICU setting, ensuring patient safety and developmental support for infants with complex medical needs.
Job Details
- Location: Frankfort, KY
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years NICU experience in a hospital setting, Kentucky license active at the time of submission, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Responsibilities include performing IV starts, lab draws, medication administration, UVC/UAC line maintenance, assessments, assisting providers with intubation, chest tube placement, umbilical line placement, and circumcisions
- Dress code: Scrub attire provided
- Schedule: Every other weekend shift and on-call responsibilities
