Job Details
- Position Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients according to organizational policies and professional standards. The nurse is responsible for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their supervision, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position involves working in a direct patient care environment, requiring physical agility, communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Uses standard precautions due to exposure risk to blood and bodily fluids, and may require periodic use of a computer.
