Job Summary
Neuro ICU (Intensive Care Unit Neurological) located in the designated healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients with neurological conditions, including trauma, stroke, and post-surgical neurology cases. The position requires managing complex neurological patients and utilizing advanced neuro-specific equipment and protocols.
Job Details
- Location: Healthcare facility (specific name undisclosed)
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); relevant neuro ICU experience; no minimum years of experience specified for qualification
- Responsibilities include care of ventilated patients, central line management, stroke management, ICP monitoring, neuro-specific procedures, and working alongside interdisciplinary support teams such as respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and more
- Charting System Experience: Epic required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Additional Information: Neuro ICU experience, stroke management, neuro-specific procedures, and equipment familiarity are preferred
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have State or Compact licenses in hand and meet on-boarding criteria within 48 hours of contract signing.
