Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) [Location] Days shift. This position involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity unit within a healthcare facility. The role requires strong experience in intensive care to manage complex patient needs, including mechanical ventilation, cardiac monitoring, and critical care procedures.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: RN license in MD or a Compact State, BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI certifications; 2 years of ICU level experience, 1+ year in IMC/ICU settings preferred; experience with Epic charting system; ability to float to ICU units; schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours/week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with trauma level II or similar high-acuity units; experience with advanced respiratory management and critical care procedures.
- Responsibilities: Manage adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs, perform procedures such as arterial line management, ventilator care, and medication administration, and adhere to patient care standards within a highly monitored setting.
- Schedule: 3x12-hour days (08:00-20:30), every other weekend, with required holiday shifts.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit current licenses, certifications, and compliance documentation within five days of contract start.
