Job Summary
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing specialized patient care within the ICU at a healthcare facility. This position involves managing critically ill adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, pneumonia, neurological events, cardiac, pulmonary, and renal conditions. The role requires maintaining clinical excellence and ensuring patient safety during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position: ICU RN Nights 36 hours per week, 3 nights (20:0008:30)
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: RN license in Maryland (or valid compact license), BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI certification; 1 year of ICU or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, Epic charting system experience, community hospital experience, ICU experience preferred, understanding of adult and geriatric patient care, and ability to float within the specialty and lower acuity as needed
• Additional Information: The position includes handling critical procedures such as ventilator management, arterial line care, sedation management, drug administration, and specialized patient monitoring. The assignment begins on 09/28/2026, with a contract duration of 8 weeks, ending on 11/23/2026. Candidates must complete onboarding compliance within five days of start and go for labs within 72 hours of signing the contract.
