• Position Description: At HopeWest, hospice nursing offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver personalized care to patients in their own homes or care facilities. The nurse acts as an educator and advocate, helping patients identify personal care goals and supporting caregivers. The role requires excellence in assessment, critical thinking, and symptom management across a broad range of diseases.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); degree in Nursing; 0 or more years of experience; work authorization in the location; availability to work scheduled hours.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional backup for weekends and on-call.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing an assigned caseload of patients, leading interdisciplinary team efforts, and providing care wherever patients reside, including private homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
