Job Summary
Critical Care Nurse Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float, Phoenix, AZ. This position involves providing specialized pediatric critical care within a renowned children's hospital. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered nursing care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based standards and hospital policies.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current Arizona RN license or multistate privilege license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, PALS certification from the American Heart Association, and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. A two-year Associate Degree in Nursing or a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. Experience: 2 years experience as an RN in pediatric critical care, with preferred experience in Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units and childrens hospital settings.
- Schedule: Rotating Shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare teams, delivering professional nursing care appropriate for pediatric patients, and adhering to hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Submission requirements: Candidate must hold or be able to establish licensure in Arizona prior to the start date. Active certifications in BLS, PALS, and NRP are mandatory.
