Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location: unspecified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for critically ill patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The RN is accountable for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing services and utilizing specialized knowledge and judgment to provide patient-centered care across all developmental stages.

- Position Description: This role involves assessing patients physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, reviewing health histories and diagnostics, formulating care plans including discharge planning, and delivering direct patient care aligned with physician orders and standards of care. Responsibilities include delegating care activities, promoting continuity of care, evaluating patient responses, documenting interventions, and participating in unit or facility shared leadership activities. The RN interacts with staff, patients, families, and external contacts such as community providers and agencies, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the appropriate state or territory, BLS certification, no minimum years of experience required, availability to work nights, 12-hour shifts, and at least 36 hours per week. Relevant experience in an acute care hospital setting or relevant clinical area is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred. Additional related education and/or experience may be advantageous.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/20/2026.
- Additional Information: The position involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit setting, requiring physical agility, effective communication skills, and adherence to safety protocols, including blood and bodily fluid precautions.
