Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care in a 32-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4, focusing on pre and post-operative care, drip titration, and non-titration drips. The RN will work a 12-hour night shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, on an assignment running from September 28, 2026, to December 28, 2026.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, ACLS, Telemetry certification; RN license; 0 years of experience required; shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours minimum per week.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Unit includes 32 beds, with staff comprising 9 RNs, 3 PCTs, and 2 Tele Monitor Technicians per shift. Must have skills in telemetry monitoring, BLS, and ACLS; candidates without these will not be considered. The unit emphasizes a willingness to grow and learn, with a focus on patient-specific care involving IV pumps, SCD pumps, Bipap/Cpap, and telemetry monitoring.
