Job Summary
LTC (Long Term Care) Nurse in the area. This role involves providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising nursing assistants in accordance with regulatory standards. The position also includes administrative and clinical responsibilities to ensure high-quality resident care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for directing nursing activities, administering medications, and ensuring proper documentation and resident care in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines. Tasks include supervising staff, preparing rooms for admissions, participating in treatment planning, and assisting with facility surveys.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program. Current, unencumbered RN license required. BLS / CPR and AED Program Certification required. No minimum years of experience specified.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensure room readiness, assist with resident admissions and discharges, update resident care plans, perform administrative duties, and document resident conditions accurately.
• Additional Information: Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, demonstrate leadership, and work harmoniously within a team. Commitment to confidentiality and resident rights is essential.
