PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse in Englewood, Colorado. This seasonal travel position involves caring for surgical patients in a fast-paced environment, requiring collaboration across departments to deliver excellent patient care.

Job Details

Position Description: Seasonal travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The unit has 27 beds, with staffing of 12 RNs, including 2 Charge RNs.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have current PACU experience of at least 1 year, a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: This role includes one weekend call shift per month. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a caring demeanor, and a commitment to patient satisfaction. Experience with procedures such as blocks, orthopedics, spine, neurology, interventional radiology, ENT, general surgery, gastrointestinal, vascular, and colorectal is preferred.
