Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN) in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves providing care in a large, level 1 trauma and quaternary medical center, with responsibilities including working in telemetry, medical-surgical, emergency department, or post-anesthesia care units as needed. The position requires compliance with specific certification and licensing standards and offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment aimed at delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Position: Telemetry Medical Surgical Float RN
• Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current Hawaii RN license; ACLS, BLS/HCP, and NIHSS certifications; pass Telemetry exam with a score of 80% or better during orientation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CPI and specialty certification highly preferred; previous float pool experience highly desired; experience in a large, academic, level 1 trauma center highly preferred; Epic electronic medical record experience required.
• Additional Information: All compliance requirements must be uploaded to Medefis portal 10 or more days prior to start; failure to do so will delay or cancel the assignment. The role involves floating to areas of similar or lesser acuity, including telemetry, med/surg, emergency department, or PACU. Former travelers to the organization are highly desired.
