This position involves providing specialized care to oncology patients in a medical surgical setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care during night shifts, following established protocols, and supporting patient recovery and well-being. Prior travel experience is required for all positions.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active VA or Compact State license, 2 years of experience in medical surgical oncology, BLS certification required, ACLS preferred, Cerner experience preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care, possibly including charge responsibilities with appropriate training and pay differential, supporting unit staffing needs, and working at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years).
• Submission Requirements: Work history with at least 2 years of experience, explanation of all work gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, copy of Nursys/license, and all requested time off documented at submission.
• Additional Information: Assignments end on Saturday, with 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit needs. RTO is limited, and the client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to shift due to census fluctuations. Travelers may float depending on needs.
