Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Michigan. This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will triage patients, perform assessments, and intervene appropriately while supporting both acute and non-acute patients. The role requires demonstrating competent clinical practice, acting independently in life-threatening situations, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan (MI) licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, minimum of 2 years Emergency Room (ER) experience, and skill verification within the last year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform nursing assessments, process physician orders, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and collaborate on updating care plans. Responsibilities include managing complex equipment, responding to emergency situations, and providing psychological and physical comfort to patients and their families. Candidates must be flexible to work nights and participate in a rotating schedule as required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years, along with current skills checklists and licensing documentation demonstrating active Michigan RN licensure.
