Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Puyallup, Washington. Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN or Relias module); at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred; Washington State licensure or eligibility required.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 0700-1900 or 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Strong labor and delivery experience including cervical exams, antepartum and labor management, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin, and postpartum care.
• Additional Information: Role involves support within a busy Labor and Delivery Department, including postpartum and neonatal care to mothers and infants, with specific duties around fetal monitoring, medication administration, and couplet care once stability is achieved. Orientation includes annual core competencies and unit-specific exams.
