Description

Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse is based in the treatment center or inpatient care setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring safe and effective treatment while collaborating closely with the inter-professional health care team. The nurse demonstrates strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac care, patient safety, and evidence-based practice to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Location: Treatment center or inpatient care setting
  • Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BSN, current California RN License, current American Heart Association BLS certification, American Heart Association PALS certification, 3 years of experience in pediatric/adult acute care, proficiency with clinical equipment/machines, computers, and technology within the nurse's practice setting, and responsible use of materials and supplies
  • Preferred Qualifications: Interventional Radiology experience
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage complex patient care assignments relevant to specialty nursing practice
    • Collaborate within an inter-professional team to facilitate patient-centered care and safety
    • Evaluate and incorporate current evidence and clinical guidelines into care delivery
    • Engage in problem solving and conflict resolution related to patient safety and care quality
    • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Submission Requirements: Confirmation of current licensure, certifications, and relevant experience
