Job Summary
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse is a registered nurse practicing at the facility. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring safe and effective clinical practices. The position demands a collaborative approach within the healthcare team, emphasizing patient-centered care, safety, and evidence-based practice.
Job Details
- Location: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BSN; current California RN License; American Heart Association AHA Certification for Basic Life Support BLS; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS; American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification via AWHONN; 0 years of experience in L&D and antepartum
- Preferred Qualifications: High-risk antepartum experience highly preferred
- Additional Information: The nurse must be proficient in the operation of clinical equipment, technology within the practice setting, and judicious use of materials and supplies. The role may include guiding and assisting unlicensed assistive personnel as defined by the organizations policies and the California Nurse Practice Act.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide personalized, evidence-based, and safe care during labor and delivery, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
