Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Augusta, GA. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the main operating room of a busy healthcare facility. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care during various surgical procedures, with a focus on orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and vascular cases.
Job Details
- Certified as a Basic Life Support (BLS) provider.
- Education: Must have a relevant nursing degree or diploma.
- Location: Augusta, GA.
- Experience requirement: 0 years.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Timeframe: Start date September 28, 2026, through December 28, 2026.
- Additional responsibilities include assisting with all surgical cases, adhering to unit-specific policies, and demonstrating teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- The candidate must have prior orthopedic major joint experience; other applicable skills include general, urology, minor vascular, and major vascular procedures.
- Floating policy: If the ORs are shut down, floating to assist in other areas is required, with internal staffing first, then assisting in other departments.
