Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a healthcare provider organization. This role involves providing critical care to patients in the ICU setting, following established nursing care plans, supervising clinical support staff, and ensuring patient and staff safety. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, and promotes patient and employee safety.
• Certifications/Education/Experience: BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only). Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient care, documents accurately and timely, participates in patient rehabilitation, initiates discharge planning, and delegates appropriately. Assumes charge responsibility following orientation and actively pursues professional growth. Maintains effective communication across care teams and contributes positively to the work environment.
