Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing care on the respiratory unit, primarily managing COVID patients, with potential to float across various medical-surgical units. The role requires expertise in telemetry and stepdown care, with shifts scheduled for nights, and every other weekend work.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license, active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 3 years of recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience, and proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
• Responsibilities include work primarily on the respiratory unit with occasional float to units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders, among others.
• The candidate must have current/recent telemetry and stepdown experience, be able to read telemetry with proficiency verified through testing on day one, and demonstrate Epic EMR competency.
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract, with hours not limited to 12-hour shifts.
• Position start date: 09/21/2026, end date: 12/21/2026.
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission and included in the confirmation documentation.
