Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse Brooklyn, NY. Job Details

Position: RN - Oncology in the Medical Surgical Oncology Floor.
Shift: Days, 7.5 hours, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications: Valid chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification from the Oncology Nursing Society; 23 years of adult infusion experience (outpatient infusion experience preferred); experience requirement: 0 years; minimum experience: 1 year.
Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience in infusion settings is preferred.
Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products; monitor patient responses; document treatment procedures; collaborate with healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
Additional Information: The role involves managing approximately 70 patient cases per day in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be capable of handling complex infusion therapies and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
