Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for a healthcare facility. This position involves providing care within a specialized unit requiring clinical expertise in step-down, progressive care, or telemetry environments. The role supports patient recovery and monitors key health indicators to ensure optimal outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Type: Travel RN on nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Specialty: Step Down Unit (RN Step Down - PCU or Telemetry)
- Start Date: 09/20/2026
- End Date: 12/19/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nursing license, 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or telemetry acute care experience, Current Epic certification, Driver's license, Ascension profile, and two professional references
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with nurse travel assignments and skills in both PCU and Med-Surg/Telemetry units
- Additional Information: Traveler will be placed based on the greatest unit need, with the possibility of floating onsite or within 40 miles of the facility to ensure coverage and meet skill set requirements
