Job Summary
Operating Room Pediatrics Only (OR PEDS) Savannah, GA
This position involves providing specialized pediatric surgical care within a newly established pediatric hospital unit. The role encompasses circulating or scrubbing for pediatric general, orthopedic, ENT, eyes, and neuro surgeries, ensuring high-quality care for pediatric patients in a dynamic surgical environment.

Job Details

  • Position: OR PEDS (Operating Room Pediatrics Only)
  • Location: Savannah, GA
  • Shift Time: Days
  • Shift Hours: 10 hours per day
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • Education & Experience: RN or CST preferred with at least 3 years of experience in pediatric surgical settings
  • Schedule: 6:45am-3:15pm or 6:45am-5:15pm, working five days per week
  • Responsibilities include circulating or scrubbing for pediatric general, trauma, ortho, ENT, neuro, and eye surgeries, with all procedures performed on pediatric patients.
  • Equipment used includes Stryker microscopes, Neptune systems, and Carm documentation systems.
  • The unit maintains a child and parent care model and adheres to specific policies outlined for staff.
  • Additional information: The pediatric hospital is newly opened, equipped with advanced technology, and attached to a main hospital for resource access, providing a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.
