Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Clyde, NC. This position involves delivering specialized nursing care to cardiac and post-cardiac catheterization patients within a 22-bed unit. The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and flexibility to adapt to patient needs.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, 2 years of RN experience in step-down or intensive care units, located within 60 miles or greater from the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac patient care, telemetry unit experience, excellent communication skills, flexible team-oriented personality
• Responsibilities: Providing quality nursing care to adult cardiac patients, managing telemetry monitoring systems, assisting with post-procedure recovery, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Additional Information: Nursing staff will work with a patient population that includes post-cardiac cath lab patients, cardioversions, and adult cardiac care patients. The unit uses telemetry equipment and adheres to strict patient ratios and care protocols.
