Emergency Room Nurse in Porter, Indiana. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care within a 30-bed emergency department, with a patient ratio of 1:4. The role is critical in delivering fast-paced, life-saving interventions and working collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Position: Emergency Room Nurse
Location: Porter, Indiana
Shift: Evenings, 4x12-hour shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
Schedule: Mids 4x12's 3P-3A; no on-call requirements
Certifications: RN licensure in Indiana, ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIHSS required
Experience Required: 0 years minimum, at least 1 year preferred
EMR System: Cerner
Scope of Role: ER Nurse
Number of Beds in Unit: 30
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Scrub Color: Navy
Travelers Submission Requirements: Must attach current license and certifications, include current driver's license and permanent home address matching ID, and be greater than 50 miles from the facility
Willing to Review: Clinicians with pending state license
