Critical Care Nurse Intensive Care Unit Float Phoenix, AZ. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within pediatric critical care settings. The role supports a collaborative healthcare team in promoting patient health through professional nursing practices aligned with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care in Pediatric Intensive Care Units and Critical Care Float Pool.
- Certification/License/Education Requirements: Current State of Arizona RN license or multistate privileges, current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, current PALS certification from the American Heart Association, current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or Diploma Nursing degree.
- Experience Requirements: 2 years experience as an RN in pediatric critical care. Level III or IV NICU hospital experience and childrens hospital experience preferred.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Collaborate with healthcare team, support patient and family needs, deliver evidence-based nursing care for pediatric patients in critical conditions.
- Additional Information: This assignment will require floating between various locations including main hospital sites and multiple outpatient facilities. Flexibility to support both days and nights, with shift details determined during the interview. Only the RTO discussed in the interview will be pre-approved.
