Description

Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist Location: Fargo, ND. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a busy, Level 1 trauma hospital equipped with 25 operating suites. The position requires assisting with orthopedic, ENT, plastics, and general surgeries, utilizing systems such as Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker.

Job Details

Schedule: 10-hour days with a rotating shift, including call responsibilities once a week and every 4 to 6 weekends.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association; licensure through the North Dakota Board of Nursing UAP Registry; minimum of 2 years of relevant operating room experience; experience working in a large hospital setting with more than 15 OR suites; familiarity with orthopedic, ENT, plastic surgery, and trauma procedures.
Additional Information: Potential to float to other Fargo campuses, including Broadway and SU. Candidates must badge in and out at the facility and will be provided with scrub color (Ceil Blue).
Submission Requirements: Candidates must indicate if they have previously worked for the organization; if so, the prior employment end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
