Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare provider environment. This role involves providing specialized care for adult patients with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions, including those on chronic vents and with complex diagnoses. The position requires working day shifts with a 12-hour schedule, starting on 09/14/2026, through 12/12/2026.

Job Details

• Position Description: IMCU RN, critical care specialty focusing on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory patients, including those with post-operative needs and on specialty equipment such as temporary pacers, chest tubes, A lines, and Bipap.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Valid New York Registered Nurse (RN) license and all RN licenses documented in NURSYS report, with active licensing verification including RTO.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in IMCU/Progressive Care Unit.
• Location Requirements: Drivers' licenses with matching address and up-to-date resume required.
• Schedule: Shift hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., totaling 12 hours per day with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Float rotation may be required. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume that details at least two years of experience in IMCU/Progressive Care and documentation of travel experience.
