Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in the healthcare organizations facility. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including monitoring and managing patients on telemetry, orthopedic, and rehabilitation units. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to clinical guidelines for a variety of adult medical and surgical patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: State RN license, BLS certification, NIHSS certification, Epic charting system experience preferred, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in relevant settings, clinical experience with adult medical/surgical patients, familiarity with telemetry monitoring, and experience managing patients with hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical conditions.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be capable of floating between IMC, orthopedic, and rehabilitation units. May care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Note: This position involves working during major holidays and may require working one to two of the upcoming holidays depending on the contract schedule, as well as weekend shifts every other weekend.
