Job Summary
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Specialist is needed at a pediatric-focused healthcare facility. This position involves providing critical care to pediatric patients across multiple ICU settings, including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and other specialty areas, with frequent float requirements between campuses.
Job Details
- Position: ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Specialist
- Location: The organizations pediatric healthcare facility
- Schedule: Days shifts, every other weekend, with a shift duration of 12 hours and minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); active Georgia or compact state license; at least 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) experience; experience in all ICU settings including Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Thoracic, and Cardiovascular ICUs, as well as general and specialty care areas; EPIC charting proficiency; able to make up missed shifts; drug screen testing as per facility policy; flu vaccination required; experience in pediatric intensive care required.

- Responsibilities: Providing critical care for pediatric and neonatal patients, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring adherence to facility protocols.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on or after 09/14/2026 and complete their assignment by 12/12/2026.
