Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Atlanta, Georgia. This position involves providing specialized care for pediatric patients across multiple ICU settings, including Pediatric Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Trauma ICU, and Cardiac ICU, among others. The role requires flexibility to float between two campuses and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Job Details
- Position: Pediatric ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Schedule: Days Weekend block (Friday to Sunday), 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid active Georgia or compact license, BLS and ACLS certifications, at least 2 years of PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) or Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience, ability to float between two campuses, employment in a full-time capacity for the duration of the assignment from 09/14/2026 to 12/12/2026, and willingness to meet CHOA (Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta) policies including drug screening and flu vaccination
- Additional Information: Candidate must be able to make up missed shifts, work in a NICOTINE-FREE facility with mandatory drug screening, and comply with CHOA flu vaccination policy without exemptions. The role involves working with a patient ratio of 2-3:1.
