Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Department Nurse
• Unit Information: Emergency Department with 40+ beds, staffed by over 120 healthcare professionals including nurses, advanced paramedics, and support staff.
• Location: Independence, MO
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-pressure emergency environment, previous medical experience such as RN, Medic, or Technician, outgoing and positive personality under pressure.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasounds, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak equipment. The team is composed of diverse healthcare professionals working collaboratively to deliver optimal patient care. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability and be team players.
