Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse in southeastern Washington. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, 25-bed emergency department serving a diverse patient population. The position supports the organizations mission to deliver exceptional patient outcomes through expert nursing care.

Job Details:

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required
  • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) license per state requirements required
  • Location: southeastern Washington, within Tri-Cities region
  • Years of Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
  • Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with weekend coverage (2 weekends per month)
  • Role: Emergency Room Nurse in a high-volume, dynamic environment with all age groups including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
  • Responsibilities include: delivering urgent and emergent patient care, managing diverse clinical situations, utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR), and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Additional Information: No call requirements. The unit is staffed with four patients to one nurse ratio. Competency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) is desirable, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.
