Job Summary
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float RN Colorado Springs, CO. This position involves providing patient care across multiple units within the zone, including general medical-surgical specialties such as Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, and Orthopedics. The role requires flexibility to float within designated facilities and units, with a focus on adult patient populations.
Job Details
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO; various facilities within a 60-mile radius.
- Position Description: The RN will provide care in a dynamic environment, floating across units such as Medical Surgical, Telemetry, ICU, PCU, and Stepdown based on acuity and staffing needs.
- Certifications & Education: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS; and the minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry Nursing required.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be in state for the week of orientation, with no more than 3 shifts missed in the 13-week contract. May be asked to work weekends (6-9 shifts in a 6-week schedule) and potentially holidays. The facility utilizes electronic charting via EPIC, and the candidate must possess a license to submit.
