Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position offers a night shift opportunity at a non-profit community hospital. This role involves caring for a diverse patient demographic, including patients with respiratory distress, cardiac conditions, vascular issues, and post-surgical care, in both ICU and Telemetry settings. This critical care position requires clinical expertise and the ability to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 1900-0730 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/16/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), 2 years of clinical experience in ICU or equivalent setting, location flexibility, and a minimum of 1 prior travel assignment experience.
• **Skills and Patient Types:**Experience with above and below patient types including chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths, and blood product administration. Preferred skills include Art line, Impella, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience. The role involves managing patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, respiratory distress, acute coronary syndrome, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, diabetes mellitus, post-cardiac catheterization, stroke, and surgical vascular, abdominal, and gastrointestinal patients.
• Additional Information: The unit regularly manages both ICU and Telemetry patients, with some surgical and vascular cases, requiring familiarity with drips like diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, and heparin. The facility utilizes Electronic Medical Records (EPIC) and requires professional scrub attire in any color. There is no weekend rotation, and on-call duties are not required.
