Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) Nurse, located in Alaska. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Magnet Facility with Level II Trauma designation. The role requires flexibility to float within scope as needed, ensuring quality patient care during night shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS certification; current Alaska Registered Nurse license in hand or eligibility to complete license application within 48 hours for auto offer; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Deliver care to adult and geriatric patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services, and manage patient diagnoses including oncology-related conditions.
- Additional Information: Oncology experience and chemo administration experience preferred. Must be open to floating to similar units as needed, and able to work three of five major holidays. Coverage may be more frequent on weekends, which could be subject to staffing needs. Candidates must have a valid license in hand for auto offer, and RTO is approved on an individual basis with all requests included in the submittal.
